[Case Study of Wireless Engraving Machine] Stabilizing VIN Engraving on Vehicle Bodies
TechnoMark CONNECT Series Easy120
Improving the workability of vehicle VIN engraving with a wireless stamping engraving machine and dedicated attachment.
This case study is an example of the introduction of Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) stamping in the automotive and vehicle manufacturing process. The company has implemented the "Easy120" stamping machine to perform alphanumeric VIN stamping on vehicle bodies and chassis. The deep and clear stamping allows for high visibility identification even after wear or painting processes. Additionally, the wireless connection enables stamping operations without worrying about cable management, allowing for flexible handling around large workpieces and production lines. Furthermore, to prevent interference due to protrusions in the marking area, we proposed custom attachments tailored to the workpiece shape. In this way, our company not only provides the stamping machine itself but also supports proposals for custom attachments. <Implementation Effects> - By reliably stamping the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), we strengthen tracking management from manufacturing to distribution and maintenance. - The stamping machine ensures sufficient stamping depth, making it difficult for the VIN stamping to fade even after wear or painting. - The adoption of dedicated attachments tailored to the workpiece shape prevents interference with the stamping position, achieving stable stamping quality.
