Biconical Antenna TBMA2
The TBMA2 is a biconical measurement antenna for EMC radiated emission testing and generating specified electric field strength. It is an ideal choice for any lab conducting in-house pre-compliance testing at an affordable price. It has characteristics in the frequency range of 30MHz to 300MHz and features a directional pattern similar to that of a dipole antenna. The TBMA2 comes with a POM bracket that has a 1/4 inch screw hole for mounting on a standard tripod. To avoid the disadvantages of contact deterioration due to aging from a non-welded structure made of aluminum, the radiating element uses stainless steel components. The radiating element is secured with screws instead of welding, making assembly and disassembly easy, as well as simplifying storage and transport. The antenna element is fed through a 1:4 balun with a power handling capability of 100W.
