This is an example of reviewing the external sharing of design documents, procedures, and change histories at a medical device manufacturer using "necfru MAM/DAM." The sending of design documents and procedures was dependent on the person in charge, and the use of ZIP attachments made it difficult to see sending records and reference histories. Weak version control also made it easy for outdated materials to circulate. We implemented tag management by product/document type/version/department, limiting the shared items to finalized versions only.
