More than 90% of the causes of troubles in offset printing are said to be due to water. Tap water and well water contain many impurities, which can lead to printing issues such as calcium buildup on rollers and pipes. "Pure water," being free of impurities, improves print quality by reducing the frequency of roller cleaning and stabilizing pH levels. This also leads to a decrease in the use of etching solution, resulting in lower running costs. Benefits of using RO pure water: - Pure water has the highest solubility, allowing for better interaction with H liquid, achieving similar effects even with reduced dilution rates. - Pure water remains consistent throughout the year, regardless of season or time, ensuring stable printing every day. - In a circulation tank system, dissolved inorganic substances (such as calcium) from ink can return as backwater, but pure water is supplied in a measured amount to dilute impurities, preventing the dampening water from becoming concentrated and unstable. - The use of pure water facilitates smoother mixing with ink, reducing consumption and maintaining concentration. - Since pure water contains no organic or inorganic substances, it extends the lifespan of plates, rollers, brushes, etc., and significantly reduces issues such as clogging of dampening spray nozzles, scaling in pipes, water trays, and circulation tanks.
