This is a commercial dried onion made from spring new onions produced in Kyotango, Kyoto Prefecture. The onions, which have accumulated sweetness after a winter, are low-temperature dried. The spiciness is gently removed, resulting in a melt-in-your-mouth sweetness and fluffy texture. Rehydrating them restores the freshness of new onions. They are suitable for a wide range of uses, including soups, stews, bread, and quiches. No glucose is used. We are also flexible in OEM manufacturing, starting from a minimum lot of 10 bags (100g).
