We received an inquiry from a chemical plant in the Kanto region regarding the update of an existing malfunctioning neutralization system. The wastewater volume was approximately 500L/day, and it consisted of highly alkaline wastewater, including alkaline leachate from concrete. We proposed the use of the corrosion-resistant submersible pump LC series for transferring the wastewater from the pit. We adopted a type that allows for liquid level control using a float, while still being highly resistant to corrosion. Ultimately, they placed an order for a complete system that includes the transfer from the pit, neutralization, and discharge, which also involves updating the neutralization system.
