We received an inquiry from a major Taiwanese medical device brand manufacturer regarding the development and mass production of a spray-type inhaler for asthma patients. The cap components require high waterproof performance (IP58) and durability, with the main challenges being ease of use and reliability ensured by a unique hook and hinge mechanism. Strict requirements were also imposed on the speed of mass production startup and cost competitiveness. The annual production quantity is between 30,000 and 50,000 units, with a defect rate target of 1 in 5,000.
