Vascular model with anterior communicating artery aneurysm in the anterior circulation
<H+N-R-A-001>
Anterior circulation vascular model with a prior aneurysm.
Anterior circulation model with a previous aneurysm 【Features】 ○ There are two large posterior communicating arteries, two posterior cerebral arteries, and one large anterior communicating artery with a right dominant A1 segment. ○ A small saccular aneurysm (neck size: 3.5-4.0 mm max, maximum aneurysm diameter 13 mm, minimum 11 mm) is added to the anterior communicating artery branch of the right A1. ○ The asymmetric A1 segment is known clinically as a constitutional predisposition for the development of small saccular aneurysms. ○ The presence of such variants in the ex vivo model adds realism to the simulation of the disease known as aneurysm.

Applications/Examples of results
【Purpose】 As an ex vivo model, the elastomeric vascular model is suitable for modern imaging modalities such as digital subtraction angiography, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging. By using appropriate circulating fluids, Doppler techniques can also be implemented. As an ex vivo model, its transparency to light makes it suitable for monitoring via video and photography.
