Radio Wave Interference Measurement Solution Using a handheld spectrum analyzer, you can measure areas affected by digital terrestrial television interference and implement countermeasures against wireless device interference. When a large building is constructed in the direction of incoming radio waves (the orientation of the antenna), the areas in the shadow of the building will have obstructed signals, leading to snow noise interference (graininess on the screen) due to insufficient signal levels. In cases of large structures such as large condominiums or office buildings, the area of interference typically increases. Additionally, when multiple wireless devices (microphones, repeaters, etc.) are used in the same or adjacent environments, normal audio reception may be disrupted due to interference between channels, resulting in noise (static). The handheld spectrum analyzer from Micronix is very affordable and can measure a wide range of radio wave conditions, covering frequencies from 440MHz to 770MHz for digital terrestrial television and 600MHz to 820MHz for wireless devices, as well as from 50kHz to 8.5GHz.
