Tempered glass has a high modulus of elasticity and rigidity, and can be used in temperature ranges up to 260°C. Even in the unlikely event of breakage, tempered glass does not produce sharp fragments, making it safe. Tempered glass is mainly suitable for the glass parts of pressure vessel sight glasses in plants, vacuum devices, and plasma treatment equipment. 【Basic Characteristics】 Our "tempered glass" is heated to a certain temperature (which varies depending on the glass material) and then rapidly cooled by blowing compressed air onto it, creating a compression layer on the glass surface. This results in a glass that is approximately 2 to 3 times stronger than in its normal state (air-cooled tempering). In this case, strength refers to flexural strength, which is improved in relation to the pressure applied to the pressure vessel when installed.
