Beta Formation Tester, capable of evaluating local mass changes in paper that cannot be assessed by optical total mass measurement, such as calendar-coated paper and colored paper. 【Features】 ○ High precision is guaranteed as a calibration curve is used with standard paper ranging from 20 to 300 g/m². ○ Measurement point diameter: 400 points at φ1mm (default value, maximum value is 6000 points) with histogram display, standard deviation, and general standard deviation shown. ○ Compatible with Windows NT, allowing measurement time to be reduced to half compared to the DOS version of BFT. ○ Point spacing in the scanning direction: 1.0 to 3.5 mm (default value: 3.5 mm). ○ Point spacing in the paper feeding direction: 1.0 to 1,000 mm (default value: 3.5 mm). ○ Maximum paper sample width: 210 mm (A4 size). ○ No restrictions on sample length in the paper feeding direction. ○ Maximum measurement width in the scanning direction: 70 mm. ○ No restrictions on measurement width in the paper feeding direction. ○ Source specification: Pm-147 sealed capsule source 185 mBq. ○ Measurement area can be freely selected within the above limits. ● For other functions and details, please download the catalog.
