This is a "dual-purpose AC/DC drive device" that can be converted into an AC drive device by changing the software (firmware) while keeping the hardware (unit) as is. Therefore, for the time being, it is possible to reuse the existing DC motor and only change the drive device to the latest control device, followed by a gradual update of the equipment through the conversion to an AC motor.
