BUMAX is a bolt developed with the aim of design improvements (downsizing, weight reduction). It uses Swedish austenitic steel SUS316L and ensures high strength of 8.8 and 10.9 through the manufacturing processes of forging and rolling without heat treatment. Its features go beyond just high strength: - Four times the yield strength of SUS304 (no galling) - Three times the corrosion resistance of SUS316 - Heat resistance equivalent to SUH660 heat-resistant steel - Excellent magnetic permeability with a permeability of 1.006 Additionally, it also demonstrates effectiveness against seizing. The friction coefficient during tightening is less than 50% of that of SUS316. Utilizing these features, BUMAX has solved various concerns and issues in fastening applications.
