The diameter of the LED light source at the tip is only 5.8 mm (it is enclosed in packaging for LED protection). Due to the very thin flexible part and light source, this work light can illuminate narrow and complex areas of machinery and equipment without being obstructive. Such a thin and long product has not been seen in existing LED flexible lights. *LED: Latest Nichia Chemical high-brightness LED, 1 piece The LED is enclosed in a metal package for protection. *Batteries used: 3 AAA batteries *Battery life: Approximately 50 hours (when using alkaline batteries); this is the time until the brightness drops to about half as the batteries deplete.
