This is a portable non-contact "surface" three-dimensional measuring machine that can be brought to work sites for measurement. The vertical and horizontal movements are driven by a motorized remote control, while the planar movement is facilitated by casters. Vibration prevention is achieved through an electric fixing method, making operation very simple. The movement of each movable axis is measured by encoders, and this information is used to automatically align the measurement patches. It measures workpiece shapes, including complex geometries, at high speed, high precision, and high density. It is an inexpensive system with excellent cost performance.
