The belt drum flaker is a compact and simple flaker that efficiently cools and solidifies molten materials and softened resins by extending them into sheets of a certain thickness and width, then forcibly adhering them to the outer circumference of a rotating cooling drum with an endless belt, while simultaneously crushing and flaking them. The processed material continuously supplied from the kneading screw, reaction vessel, etc., is pinched between the gap of the cooling drum and the press roller, and is extended to a uniform thickness. The dimensions of the gap and the rotation speed of the cooling drum can be easily adjusted, allowing for flexible changes in the thickness and processing amount of the flaker. After cooling, the processed material that has separated from the cooling drum is flaked using various types of crushers, depending on the properties of the material.
