If a camera is installed in a location or building away from the monitor installation site, there may be a situation where current flows through the video cable due to different potentials at each grounding point (ground loop). This ground loop not only allows current to flow but also introduces noise from nearby devices, causing distortion and noise. The device that interrupts this ground loop and restores clean video is called a ground loop isolator. The TGP001H is a low-loss type of video transformer that suppresses ground loop noise generated when transmitting composite video using twisted pair cables. It is a product that adds the functionality of a twisted pair transmitter (passive type) to the GL001H designed for coaxial cables.
