[For Metro and Intercity] WDM Mux/DeMux Filter: CWDS/DWDS/DWDM Series
The CWDS/DWDS/DWDM series are passive WDM Mux/DeMux filters. The WDS series allows unidirectional/bidirectional communication of 2 to 16 wavelengths with a single fiber, while the WDM series enables multiple unidirectional/bidirectional communications of up to 16 wavelengths with two fibers. Due to being passive devices, different protocols can be used simultaneously for each channel. There is also a rack-mounted chassis available that can accommodate 2 units (WDM-2-05US) in a 0.5U size and 4 units (WDM-2-01U) in a 1U size.
