Falling ball viscometer
The KF10 is a falling ball viscometer that complies with the DIN53015 standard, based on the Hepler-type measurement principle. It allows for accurate viscosity measurement of Newtonian fluid samples at precise temperatures using a simple measurement principle. The measurement method involves filling a glass tube inclined at an angle with the sample, dropping a ball inside the tube, and measuring the fall time. The viscosity is proportional to the fall time and the constant of the ball. Six standard balls made of special glass, nickel-iron, and steel are included. There are also gas-specific balls available for measuring gases, vapors, etc. The inclination of the glass tube can be adjusted in four stages according to the measurement purpose.
