Fluororesin is prone to penetration by chemicals and solvents due to factors such as pinholes caused by the fluidity of the resin during melting and the gaps (grain boundaries) present in crystalline polymers. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the film thickness to suppress penetration. Our company offers coatings that include glass-based fillers to prevent penetration. This is true for any type of resin, but complete prevention of penetration is not possible, so there is always a lifespan. The lifespan also varies depending on the customer's usage conditions (such as temperature and solvents), so please consult us once.
