Patent No. 4069256 【Product Features】 ■ The sensor mat accurately detects bed exits even when it is curved during the operation of sitting up in a care bed. ■ It distinguishes between the caregiver's movements, such as turning over and getting up, and detects only when the person leaves the bed. ■ The detection unit emits a signal when a load of 15 kg is removed for more than approximately 5 seconds, ensuring reliable monitoring of the caregiver. (Loads of less than approximately 5 seconds do not trigger a signal.) ■ It can be installed under the mattress, reducing the burden on facility staff. ■ It employs a capacitive sensor (non-contact type) that responds only to load, weight, pressure, and force, and does not use rebound materials inside the sensor, resulting in minimal wear on the sensor mat and allowing for long-term use. ■ It is equipped with waterproof processing developed for outdoor sensors, providing comprehensive protection against moisture and liquids. ■ It can also be connected to various nurse call and wireless devices.
