The ultrasonic waves received by the active probe are captured by an AD converter and processed using various waveform analysis techniques. By employing various composite analysis methods and utilizing information in the range of 2K to 2MHz and ultra-wideband, it has become possible to perform advanced analytical evaluations on types of subjects that were previously incomparable. With this technology, for example, measuring the thickness of a 1m concrete slab can be achieved with a transmission voltage of just 30V. The standard probes include ultra-wideband active probes ranging from 2MH20φ to 0.5MHz106φ.
