The floating carrier is used in carrier floating tanks, carrier filtration tanks, biological filtration tanks, etc. Due to the large specific surface area, a biofilm is formed on it, allowing microorganisms to efficiently contact organic matter and oxygen through the movement of the carrier for effective treatment. The contact material is filled in the contact aeration tank to facilitate the adhesion of the biofilm. The shapes of plastic materials include corrugated, net-like, string-like, skeletal spherical, small cylindrical, tubular, etc. Plastic filter media are used in trickling filter beds and anaerobic filter tanks, and generally have shapes that are less prone to clogging due to biofilms and debris, making it easier for biofilms to adhere to the surface. Shapes include honeycomb (made of PVC), corrugated (made of PVC), small and long cylindrical (made of PE/PP), spherical (made of PP), etc.
