【Features】 ● Operates at low supply voltage (down to 0.9V) ● Low power consumption ● Digital switch output ● Accurate detection of weak magnetic fields ● Ultra-small package (MSOP8/TDFN6) ● Available in millimeter-scale die ● No damage from exposure to strong magnetic fields 【Overview】 The AFL series sensors from NVE are digital switches designed to operate at very low supply voltages and very small currents. This part can operate on a single battery. The output is configured as a switch that detects the level of the magnetic field. The output turns on at a specified magnetic field strength and turns off when the magnetic field is removed. There are two types of output configurations: current sink and current source. Both configurations can supply current up to 100μA. External pull-up or pull-down resistors are required. These devices are available in NVE's MSOP8 or TDFN6 packages, as well as in die form.
