Technical Book: Magnetic Material Technology for Automotive Motor Development
CS3 *Available for preview.
Small, high-power, high-efficiency Nd magnet synchronous motor *Available for preview.
From the "Preface": As next-generation environmentally friendly vehicles, hybrid vehicles (HV), plug-in HVs, and electric vehicles (EV) are expected to become increasingly widespread in the future. Most of these drive motors utilize small, high-power, high-efficiency Nd magnet synchronous motors. Research on rare-earth-free drive motors is also active, but performance comparable to Nd magnet motors has not yet been achieved, and it is believed that the demand for Nd magnets in next-generation environmentally friendly vehicles will continue to expand. (The rest is omitted.)
