Vacuum casting is a method that uses silicone molds instead of metal molds to cast resin in a vacuum state and obtain replicas. By using silicone molds, we can accommodate small lot sizes with short lead times and significantly reduce initial costs. The durability shot count for one mold is estimated to be around 20 to 30, making it suitable for the production of prototypes for industrial plastics, with some exceptions. Applications ⇒ Design confirmation, shape confirmation, assembly confirmation, in-house sales samples, promotional products, photography samples, samples for patent applications, and more. You can specify the material to be cast. ■ Urethane resin, epoxy resin, silicone, casting wax You can specify the physical properties and specifications of each cast. ■ Heat-resistant casting, colored casting, transparent casting, hardness-specified urethane rubber casting, ABS equivalent resin, PP equivalent resin, flame-retardant resin, weather-resistant resin, and others. Because silicone molds are used, the initial costs can be significantly reduced; however, the durability shot count for a single mold is estimated to be around 20 to 30 shots, so it is primarily used for the production of prototypes of industrial plastics, except in some cases. ■□■ List of Vacuum Casting Services ■□■ ■ Metal-like Casting Direct demolding from the silicone mold is possible, allowing for the provision of metal-like prototypes in as little as 2 days after creating the master (such as stereolithography products). ■ Wax Casting Using a heating cup and dedicated casting equipment, wax can be cast into the silicone mold. ■ Silicone Casting This method demonstrates its power when complex-shaped silicone products are desired. ■ Melt Core Casting It can reproduce shapes with undercuts inside that are impossible to replicate with conventional casting. ■ Visualization Models through Casting It helps in the development of flow analysis by visualizing transmission components, and we recommend integrated models for demonstrating oil leak prevention and pressure strength through the integration of visualization models.
