It is a glass plate that has heat resistance, chemical resistance, and low impurities.
Quartz glass plates do not have standardized thicknesses like soda glass plates or Tempax glass plates; instead, skilled craftsmen carefully grind down block-shaped pieces of quartz to create plates of the desired thickness. Therefore, we can manufacture items in your preferred size. Additionally, it is possible to drill holes or perform recessed (counterbore) processing on quartz plates. Please feel free to consult with us.

basic information
There are two main types of quartz: fused quartz and synthetic quartz. Fused quartz is made by melting powdered crystal in an electric furnace, and it contains some metallic impurities found in natural quartz. In contrast, synthetic quartz is chemically synthesized and has even fewer impurities, making it a high-purity quartz compared to fused quartz. There are materials suitable for furnace observation windows (SG material), UV materials suitable for spectrophotometer cells, and synthetic quartz glass (ES material) suitable for optical prisms and lenses.
Price information
The above is the price of fused quartz (SG material) 50X50X1t. The price varies depending on the quantity.

In 1907, we established a private business, a scientific glass processing plant, in the Kita Ward of Osaka City. Subsequently, in 1957, we reorganized into a corporation in line with the development of the business, becoming what is now Fuji Rika Kogyo Co., Ltd. Our main operations have been the production of glass products and the sale of scientific instrument manufacturer products. For over 100 years, we have steadily progressed alongside scientific glass and scientific instruments. However, we will cease operations at the end of June 2024 and will begin operations in July under MIZUKEN Co., Ltd. (formerly the Comprehensive Water Research Institute).
