Fiber optic displacement sensors are unaffected by EMI/RFI and enable safe and high-precision measurements even in hazardous environments and high-temperature areas. Fiber optic linear position and displacement sensors (FOD) are sensors that can measure position and displacement with high precision. FODs look similar to well-known differential transformers (LVDTs), but they do not require excitation voltage or drive signals. Therefore, FODs are completely unaffected by EMI/RFI and can be safely used in environments with explosion hazards. FODs are very compact and can be installed while maintaining sufficient distance from the controller (up to 5 km). We offer a variety of conditioners based on static and dynamic measurements and the number of channels. All fiber optic sensors (temperature, displacement, pressure, strain, load) can be used in combination, providing cost advantages and convenience as they are compatible with all conditioners. This allows us to offer a wide range of measurement plans based on reliable fiber optics utilizing advanced technology.
