The air jet utilizes the Coanda effect (the phenomenon of air flowing at high speed along the inner wall) to draw in surrounding air. A small amount of compressed air passes through the internal throttle, forming a ring-shaped air nozzle along the inner wall. A vacuum area is created, drawing in a large volume of surrounding air, which is then expelled as an air blow.

The Exair air jet uses only a small amount of compressed air as a power source, generating an exit air flow up to 25 times the air consumption, resulting in significant energy savings. Additionally, the reduced amount of compressed air also leads to lower noise levels. The standard reduction in noise level is 10 dBA. All Exair air jets meet the permissible environmental maximum pressure and noise level standards set by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
