The Chip Trapper (patent pending) vacuum-sucks coolant or oil containing cutting chips used in machine tools, and collects all the cutting chips in a reusable large filter bag. By switching a valve, it easily returns only the coolant or oil. The Chip Trapper operates solely on compressed air and processes 200 liters of waste liquid containing cutting chips in just 90 seconds. It has no electric pump and requires no power, making it maintenance-free. Moreover, it achieves a low price of ¥400,000.

The chip trapper uses an Exa Corporation drum pump/suction discharge drum bag that can fill or empty a 55-gallon (approximately 200 liters) tank in 2 seconds. Please set the pump and valve to "fill" to suction liquids containing solids. Once the reservoir or tank is empty, set the pump and valve to "empty" to return the cleaned coolant or liquid. All debris and solids are collected within the chip trapper's reusable filter bag.
