Raw solid materials (MAX 10mm) are continuously fed between two vertically rotating disks, where they are crushed to sizes ranging from a few millimeters to several hundred micrometers through mutual grinding and shearing action. The particle size of the processed material is adjusted according to the spacing between the disks. 【Features】 1) The use of specially structured disks allows for a relatively sharp particle size distribution in the processed products. 2) The adjustment of disk spacing is easy and can be finely tuned. 3) Various materials for the disks can be selected according to the intended use. (Alumina, zirconia, silicon carbide, tungsten carbide, SK material hardened, etc.) 4) A water cooling mechanism is standard equipment (except for the smallest model). 5) Due to its sealed structure, grinding in an inert gas atmosphere is possible. 6) All contact parts such as casing, cover, and chute are made of SUS304 and have a buff finish. 7) Continuous unmanned operation is possible through a combination of control panels equipped with various interlocks, raw material hoppers, and automatic feeders.
