The "MXR type" is a ribbon mixer with a U-shaped container, where a spiral ribbon-shaped stirring blade rotates at low speed inside, providing convection, diffusion, and shear action to the internal powder particles, resulting in uniform mixing. Due to the strong shear action, it can also be used for mixing highly cohesive powders and liquid additives.
