Heganes' metal powder for spinning filters is produced using a high-pressure water atomization method. The metal particles obtained by this method have extremely irregular shapes, achieving optimal porosity and specific surface area for polymer filtration, which can be maintained stably over a long period. The chemical composition, which is important for particle strength and oxidation resistance, has also been optimized for high-temperature polymer filtration. Based on iron, the addition of alloying elements such as chromium, nickel, silicon, and carbon provides sufficient strength to minimize particle compression deformation, allowing for the maintenance of high porosity during filtration and minimizing pressure increases.
