Our company was established in 1961 as "Japan Ambraco" to sell hex socket bolts "Ambraco" products in the Japanese market by SPS Technologies, Inc. in the United States. In 1984, we changed our name to "SPS Ambraco" and obtained Japanese corporate status as a 100% subsidiary of SPS. Since then, we have supplied Boeing standard parts to various heavy industries that began producing parts for the 767 and 777, and we are involved as a key supplier for the 787. In 2000, we started selling products from Penn Engineering (PEM), a manufacturer of clinching nuts, and since 2004, we have been handling high-strength stainless bolts "BUMAX," continuing our contributions in the field of industrial equipment for civilian use. In 2003, Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) in the United States conducted an M&A. In 2017, we changed our name to "PCC Distribution Japan" and became part of the PCC group, which is under the capital umbrella of Berkshire Hathaway, led by renowned investor Warren Buffett, continuing to import and sell high-value-added industrial components loved in the global market.
