Cavitation effect caused by ultrasonic vibrations in liquid!
The cavitation effect assists in the surface finish of the mold cavity.
Inquire About This Product
basic information
When ultrasonic vibrations are applied to a liquid, bubbles (cavitation bubbles) are generated due to a decrease in pressure. The shock force resulting from the collapse of these generated bubbles assists in finishing the surface profile of mold cavities and in processing hard and brittle materials as well as difficult-to-machine materials. The workpiece is fixed to the bottom of the tank using a vacuum suction method, and ultrasonic vibrations are applied to the liquid in the tank. The effects of the ultrasonic vibrations in the liquid include the dressing effect on the tool surface and the prevention of chip welding, which lead to: - Improved surface roughness of the processed surface - Extended tool life Thus, both processing quality and efficiency are enhanced. The ultrasonic vibrating tank table can be mounted on existing machines.
