basic information
- Constant monitoring of UV levels! Our proprietary special glass converts ultraviolet light into visible light in the sensor head, preventing degradation of components due to UV exposure. This enables continuous monitoring. - Two operating modes! It features two operating modes: light intensity mode and integration mode. In light intensity mode, the detection output turns ON when the set threshold is exceeded, while in integration mode, the detection output is ON below the threshold and OFF when the threshold is exceeded. Therefore, it can be used according to your needs, such as monitoring lamp light degradation, non-lighting, and UV irradiation levels. - Equipped with answer-back output! When setting sensitivity through teaching, you can confirm whether the settings have been made correctly. This allows for accurate recording and monitoring, making it safe for use in manufacturing lines and other applications. - Switchable analog voltage/current output! The analog output can be easily switched between 1-5V voltage and 4-20mA current. - Sensor heads and light guides tailored to the environment We offer custom solutions to match your usage environment, including wavelength, heat resistance, and waterproofing.

Japan is one of the world's leading producers of optical equipment, with optical glass being a key component. Since its establishment in 1953, SUMITA has been engaged in the world of light and glass as one of the few expert companies in this field. Since the 1960s, we have pursued our unique optical fiber technology. Additionally, we maintain a consistent production process from raw materials to final products, and there are very few companies globally that can mass-produce glass optical fibers at a scale of up to 700,000 km per month. We have earned high trust not only in the domestic market but also in overseas markets. Our optical fiber materials offer excellent cost performance and are applied in a wide range of fields, including medical devices, telecommunications, image processing, measurement, sensors, and lighting.
