When the target gas is drawn into the detection tube using a gas sampler, the reagent inside the detection tube changes color due to a chemical reaction. The concentration of the target gas can be read from the scale at the tip of the discoloration layer.

Gastech has developed the "direct-reading detection tube," which was the first in Japan to feature concentration scales on detection tubes. Since then, our constant focus has been on simplifying measurements and improving accuracy so that more people can easily conduct measurements across a wide range of fields. Gastech's One-Two-Three measurement for gas detection tubes reflects this commitment. It provides quick, easy, and accurate results, regardless of when, where, or who performs the measurement. To use the detection tube, set it in the sampling device, pull the handle to draw in the gas, and then read the scale on the detection tube. This is an extremely simple measurement method. - **Gas Sampling Device**: This is a suction pump that allows a specific amount of gas to flow through the detection tube. Most short-term detection tubes can be used with just this one device. The gas sampling device with a counter automatically counts the number of suction actions. It features an easy-to-read display and can be reset with simple operations. - **Gas Detection Tube**: The scale at the tip of the discoloration layer that appears in response to the target gas indicates the concentration of the gas. There are approximately 500 types of detection tubes, covering around 330 different models based on the type of gas and measurement range.
