Katsuragi Industrial's heat recovery drum dryer was developed with the aim of reducing equipment costs and running costs. Normally, the exhaust (evaporated vapor) from a dryer is released into the atmosphere, but this exhaust is recovered through a scrubber condenser and heat recovery unit, and the recovered heat is used for pre-concentration. By implementing this pre-concentration, a smaller drum dryer can be adopted, successfully reducing steam consumption by approximately 40% compared to our previous models.
