Horizontal Cutting Method This cutting method fixes the vertical position (Z-axis) of the grinding wheel at a desired height, while the table, which holds the vice, moves horizontally (Y-axis) towards the grinding wheel. (The grinding wheel is fixed, and the material to be cut moves towards the grinding wheel.) The table can also move left and right (X-axis), making it applicable for cutting parallel samples and long plates, allowing for stable and precise cutting of various shapes.
