To achieve high-precision 5-axis machining, it is extremely important that the center position of the rotational axis remains constant in space. The 5-axis control machine "YBM 8T-TT," developed based on the YBM 8T, meets this requirement and adopts a method of synchronously controlling both axes of the cradle for A-axis drive to accommodate high speed and high precision. At the same time, the trunnion base is designed as a unified structure to improve rigidity, and the A-axis trunnion section is temperature controlled. This minimizes the effects of cutting reaction forces, mass changes, and thermal deformation, enabling high-precision machining through high-speed and high-precision positioning.
