A high-performance counter that displays measurements of length, angle, speed, etc. High resolution, compact, lightweight, and low cost.
<Low Price> Achieves low cost by using CPLD in the control circuit. <High Speed Response> Can count encoder inputs up to a maximum of 10 million counts per second. ZLH can count up to a maximum of 20 million counts per second. <High Functionality> Displays converted values in any unit based on parameter settings. <Compact and Lightweight> Designed for mounting on a panel. <16-Digit, 2-Line Display> Can display up to 10 meters with a resolution of 1 nanometer. Also displays in 2 axes on a 2-line display. <Communication Function> Outputs count data externally via RS232C (ZLH uses USB).

basic information
The Smart Counter SC16 is a high-performance counter that inputs two-phase encoder signals and displays measurements such as length, angle, and speed. It features a 16-digit, 2-line display that can count and show the position of a two-axis stage from 1 nm up to a maximum of 10 m. Additionally, the SC16ZLH model has a frequency response that is twice that of the SC16 and includes functions that allow the counter reset input and counter latch input to be operated externally (TTL level). The counted data can be extracted to an external computer via communication (SC16: RS232C, SC16ZLH: USB). For operation verification such as positioning control and speed control, a box type with signal input terminals is provided, making it very convenient for measurements during prototyping and testing (clip usage allowed). The Z-phase input (ZLH type) can be used for verifying characteristics such as the resolution of the encoder alone. The ZLH type can count CW and CCW pulses, allowing for confirmation of command pulses. - Two-axis encoder latch external input (SC16ZLH) - Two-axis counter reset external input (SC16ZLH)

Company information
1. Positioning in nanometer units and ultra-precise speed control (PLL) using linear motors. 2. Development of a (real-time) encoder multiplier for achieving ultra-precise control, and a high-speed response servo driver supported by a linear amplifier. 3. Circuit design (including software) and PCB pattern design (CAD) are handled in-house, allowing for short delivery times even for OEM specifications.
