■Overview This device measures shaft vibrations of various rotating machinery, including turbines, and supports dynamic balancing adjustments. We started with vibration measurement and dynamic balancing adjustment of turbine generators at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Vibration can always be a source of trouble in turbo machinery. However, it is not possible to test all operating conditions, so we can only set patterns and achieve dynamic balance. At that time, being able to quickly optimize by cross-referencing with prior design analysis and past data is an important element in field balancing. In addition to essential items such as phase reference, rotational speed signals, and shaft vibration waveforms, we measure the vibration state and monitor dynamic balance by inputting signals indicating the operating conditions of rotating machinery, such as generator output and oil temperature, as DC voltage. Not only can it be used as a vibration meter and vibration monitoring device, but it can also be integrated into a condition monitoring system that collaborates with a long-term historical management database. We offer a lineup ranging from portable models specialized for balancing (dynamic balancing) adjustment measurements to permanent models that support the detection of precursors to trouble by collecting various parameters for manufacturing quality control.
