Graco's priming piston pump features the Check-Mate 200 series lower pump. This design maintains a good pressure balance by reducing pressure loss during the pump's downward stroke. The improvement in pump efficiency generates high hydraulic pressure suitable for drawing in high-viscosity materials and supplying materials to long discharge lines. Conventional double-acting pumps are calibrated to balance according to the viscosity of specific materials, which can lead to an imbalance when drawing in or discharging materials of different viscosities. The Check-Mate pump minimizes fluctuations in pressure balance during the upward and downward strokes, demonstrating smooth flow characteristics across a wide range of material viscosities. To precisely manage the discharge of expensive materials, bead distortion is kept to a minimum.
