It is easier to reduce tightening errors than to design with fewer screws! Let's reduce screw tightening costs with "Topra (R) PAT."!
To reduce costs, the "screwless design" is being considered, but there have been movements towards screwless designs in the past as well. However, due to difficulties in safety and design, eliminating screws or reducing their usage is not a wise strategy. By using the new anti-slip cross screw "Topura (R) PAT.", we can significantly reduce tightening errors, greatly increase bit durability, and reduce production losses, thereby significantly lowering the costs of the screw tightening process.

basic information
"Topura (R) PAT." is a patented product developed by Hios to improve the issues associated with traditional cross screws. The only difference from conventional cross screws is the shape of the cross groove, but by improving this aspect, it significantly reduces tightening errors, greatly increases bit durability, and reduces production losses, allowing for a substantial reduction in the costs of the screw tightening process. Additionally, since it is compatible with traditional cross screws, existing bits for conventional cross screws can be used as they are, eliminating any issues such as needing a special bit to tighten or loosen after it hits the market.

Our company was founded in March 1970, starting the manufacturing and sales of electric screwdrivers and special screws (Totsune screws). The Totsune screw is characterized by a round hole formed at the center of the negative screw head, and it all began with that screw. Since the bit's tip can be guided accurately into the groove of the screw head in one go, the company name was inspired by the concept of a hole-in-one in golf. We always strive to create products based on this hole-in-one system as our motto.
