<<Work Procedure>> 1. Secure the workpiece firmly to the workbench using a vice or similar tool, and position the drill at the center of the broken tap. 2. Choose an appropriate size tap extractor. The recommended spindle speed is between 1,800 and 3,000 rpm. Feed should be done in steps of 1 mm, at a rate of 0.08 to 0.1 mm/rev, and occasionally stop the operation to remove chips from the hole. 3. The remaining part of the tap can be easily removed with a scribing needle or similar tool.
