LAPP's DIN rectangular heavy-duty connectors, EPIC series, feature an extremely high contact reliability and waterproof protection due to their robust aluminum alloy cover. They are ideal for applications requiring environmental resistance, such as machine tools, food machinery, and civil engineering/construction machinery. The cable connection is screw-fastened, allowing for wiring with just a screwdriver without the need for special tools, providing excellent maintainability during maintenance. There are also crimp connection types and cage clamp connection types available. The coupling between the plug and socket can be easily attached with a single lever. A double lever type is also available. The housing can be selected from a wide variety of options. While using a common housing, you can differentiate between various series such as: - High voltage type (H-BVE series) - High current type (H-BS series) - Multi-pole type (H-DD series) The cable outlet uses multi-layer gaskets to accommodate a wide range of cable diameters. For crimp connections, contact pins that match this method are required separately. ■ Socket Insert This is the female insert, which also comes in three types: screw connection, crimp connection, and cage clamp connection.
