In conventional glass viscosity measurements, the range of 10^4 Pa.s (10^5 poise) is difficult to measure with rotational methods, and the sample preparation for the softening point measurement method according to JIS-R3103-1 was not easy. This glass viscometer is a device that continuously measures from 10^3 to 10^8 Pa.s (10^4 to 10^9 poise) using the parallel plate measurement method, which heats and applies pressure to samples with parallel surfaces.
