This device is a glass viscometer that employs the penetration method. The conventional needle penetration method has been used for measuring in the high viscosity range (around 10^10 Pa·s), but this viscometer is a new measurement device that can measure from the molten state to the solidified state. In the low viscosity range (10^2 to 10^8 Pa·s), viscosity is measured by controlling the penetration speed and measuring the resistance (load) applied at that time.
