This is a high-performance odor detection unit that prioritizes the comfort and functionality of the tester. It can be connected to any existing GC or GC-MS and can be expanded to allow up to three people to smell simultaneously. There are also many options available, such as a finger span for creating aroma graphs, voice recognition software, and practice odor mixtures.

● The heating interface sends the sample components separated by the capillary column to the sniffing cone without losing resolution. ● The lance far line is available in two types, 80 cm and 140 cm, to provide sufficient space for the testers. ● The sample exiting the column is mixed with makeup gas and humidified air to reduce discomfort for the panelists while delivering a distinct odor that maximizes separation to the sniffing cone. ● A single GC can connect up to three ports, allowing three panelists to conduct tests simultaneously, which improves testing efficiency and data accuracy. ● When the detection sensitivity of FID or MS is inferior to that of human olfaction, it can be easily upgraded from odor sniffing to the fraction collector PREP 9100.
