The MD-1 type is a fully automatic micro hardness tester that enables the direct and rapid measurement of the hardness of small rubber parts and rubber sheets of 1 to 2 mm thickness. It achieves the measurement of "the hardness of the parts themselves," which has been difficult with conventional hardness testers, with high reproducibility. Moreover, it is easy to use; simply place the sample on the table and press the switch. Data such as averages can also be printed out.
